Blessed, Passionate and Caring Teachers

Update! =) This week is study week. Optional to attend lectures or tutorials. Got this mathematics class which I am so having a hard time. ahahaha! Today's the last lesson we've had with him... I learnt to see his passionate, devoted and a caring side. My classmate and I came 5 minutes early and we were not expecting him to be always on par. But he was. We saw him few feet ahead from the flight of stairs where we waited outside the classroom. He was always on time. I rushed to gobble up all the knick-knacks that drove me hungry and went inside for class. despite only having 2 students for his lecture, he started on time. He didnt depend on the people. He had to do his duty. Boy, that was so righteous. woo~~!!! He did what he love -teach math. He shared what he love. I noticed his glee and passion as we ask him questions on whats what- this- and- that and he patiently taught us. He empathized our weak positions and yet delivers his teaching in our level. He understands. He cares. Well, there's no wonder he's the head and coordinator of Engineering Mathematics. =) Of all the scheduled lectures of 1hour and 30min every Thursday, he either extends the time or end on time if no questions were asked. Today was different. There were only 4 students over 30. He ended 30mins earlier and shared with us that he is undergoing an eye-operation. My heart went out to him. There was no wonder his hair seem less fuller and he looked thinner compared to just a week ago. Today I realized how blessed I am to be in a school of the best. I realised that its not the facilities, the food, the area of school... but it's the teachers and students who work together hand in hand that makes the success they bring to the name of the school. The teachers are the main reason. I am blessed to have these teachers in my life who are teaching me and they made me see my weaknesses and made me strong. I am thankful that I understand their subject not because they are afraid we would be better, its because they want us to be better than them=) They want us to excel no matter what cost they have to do, only so we can succeed. I learnt also that no matter how i dislike a subject, a passionate teacher can make that difference and prove me wrong. =) I pray that my math teacher would have a good health and a successful operation. I am blessed he not only taught us well in that subject, but just because of him and his character shining to us, that changed my life. It touched me, moved me and so here it is, im bloggin this out to share my happiness=) Im changed for the better. Thank you 'Cher/Sir. |
