Purpose Driven Life...

WELCOME TO MY BLOG!!!! Hello there!!! =D Yes, I've not been blogging lately but i never miss to visit my blog! Heh... It's either i don't have anything to say or i'm just plain lazy or busy. +) End-of-year exams are around the corner. All the best for all those people sitting for the exam! Start Revising now~ =) Don't forget to pray! ^_^ School is alright. Haha... after the dreading application form of OBS (Outward Bound Singapore). That was such a long story. Just wanna say THANK GOD cause despite the deadline of handing it a month later, my DM (discipline Master) who's in charge of the forms was still recruiting people to join in. hehe... So much for that! Was even sulking cz the form said, "Late submissions won't be entertained." And i only hand it in on the 16th of Aug when it should have been last 13th since the OBS camp would be 2weeks away! On the 13th Sept. =) Had my check-up and i'm 'A' OK!! =D The tetanus jab was terribly painful!!! The pain lasted for 4 days!! =( oh well!! =D I Can't wait to go!! haha... won't be in school for five days!! Gonna miss lessons and all... to even think the next month is already the exams! Gonna pray that i could still catch up for the lessons i will be missing!!! Oh yeah, hoping that Mahira and Soowen could go!!! =) I'm reading the book " The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. Apparently, heaps of my close friends back at home have already read the book. The way the book reached me is uncanny. I wanted so badly to buy the book, so i went to MPH bkstore after my french class. The book was easy to find and boy, t'was so expensive!! Handsome indeed!! it's 20 bucks+ I wasn't prepared to spend that much cz there's other things i needed. Niwae, i just went home, and told myself i'm gonna save up. Some weeks later, upon reaching home, i saw the book in the dining table!!! Grabe!! haha... Awesome... ~ Asked my mom where she got the book but t'was actually my dad who had it!!! All along man!!! haha... So now the book's with me. I've it along wherever i go. hehe... Somehow it bewilders me... how on Earth did that book reached me the easy way out?? Can't explain the excitedness!!! haha... then last week, i checked the newspapers and this book is the number one book in the chart!!! Phew~ "God works in mysterious ways alright..." ^-^ My dad is feeling so much better now. Thank y'all for ur prayers! God bless!! =) He's able to go back to work and even return to his choir practice. We just have to be careful on his in take of food. So with that, all of us have a new diet. Eating healthyly lately... hehe... Getting used in eating blant soups and all. Still, i'll never stop praying for my dad to recuperate completely. Thanks for all of you who prayed! I'll end with this verse: Blessed are those who trust in the Lord... They are like trees planted along a river bank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of draught. Their leaves stay green, and they go on producing delicious fruit. WELCOME TO MY BLOG!!!! Heya'll!!! =D I would like to thank you all for showing your kindness and all the reassurings all of you had said!!! GOD BLESS Y'ALL!!! YEAH!! My dad has recuperated from the fever and so as the pain that almost killed him. Apparantly, he still has to go for a surgery to remove his gall bladder that gave him the problem. He's able to eat now from soup to milo, spaghetti and now ANYTHING!!! PRAISE THE LORD! Anything that is not fatty and no meat for him. Well, even though he has to make some adjustements, it's good to know that he's given another chance. =D Lots of people visited him, lots of goodies and flowers we sent to his room. =) Hehe... Dad even made friends with the people who share the room with him! When dad was to be discharged after 6 days in the hospital, 2 new youths occupied the 2 empty places which allocates four people in a room. Haha.... mga lalaki!! Iniisip ko nga eh, kung nasa hospital ako nong thursday, siguro kinaibiganin ko na yon!!! haha... sayang! pero sabi ni mama eh puro sila nagchichinese. Anyway, that was only my perception... parang, what happens if..... and so my thoughts came true... won't share much about it cz it's crappy. ;-> I thank all of you who showed your concern!! +D Thanks so much!! Words can't express how i feel!! Really really thank loads to you all!! God Bless and TAKE CARE!!! =D Oh and the sad thing is... Mr Maxx had passed away. Our special librarian... He was even the person who let me prolong and even renewed the latest book that I borrowed. It's still with me despite the deadline because it seems that the library has been closed since the news. Life's like this... I've never experience having to loose someone close to me nor people having to be hospitalised. Everything was perfect then... and so i realised, you have not met the world unless u've experience all the feelings around you. And the world is us, the humans. Not just humans but the people close to you. To even think, the book that i borrowed started with a sad introduction -death. Sometime later after reading a few pages of the book... the experiences in the book had somehow entered my life cz they seem to come true... Dad being hospitalised and later Mr Maxx's sudden death. Oh man... I've not finished the book. The title seems deceiving. I borrowed it only because our English HOD had recommended us the author. The book title is " A ring of endless light" by Madeleine L'engle. The summary given behind was telling me it's a love story... but the first few chapters weren't. Oh well, Go check it out... only if u wanna. What do you think of the music video? cool eh? Which is better? A music background or a music video? Comment yea? Please Pray For My Dad...

First and Foremost... I honestly am not sure if I should be blogging this... But i need all your help. Please pray for my dad. Please pray for his speedy recovery... He has been hospitalised on his birthday last 4th of August. He spent his birthday there... but due to us, his family members, he came home to spend time with us. The doctor barred him from most of the foods that we indulge in. He's stomach is due to recover in 3 months time... but something unexpected happened. 7th August 2002, around 8+am when i was in school having the student leaders' training camp, we were playing with this huge ball. The game was soccer. Miss Ming called me, just the right time when i stepped out of the area to tie up my shoe lace. She and Miss Lim told me that My mom called. So i called and mom wanted me to go home... my dad was to be sent in the hospital. Tan Tok Seng... I was so afraid then... tried as much to be strong and just pretend everything's alright... until after asking permission from Miss Ming to leave, then i sobbed. I stayed home with my sisters. Took care of them... When mom returned, she said that when her and Dad reached the hospital, dad can't walk no longer. he was too weak... His urine has blood, He can't eat nor drink anything. Instead, he's being fed by dextrose connected to his vein and he's shivering for no reason. His heart is also not beating normally... Folks, i'm desperate for your help. Please take sometime off your funfilled day. Just pray for a minute for my dad. Remember the emails sometimes we received? A mother or someone passing on a chain letter asking for u to forward or either pray for the person in need? yeah... i'm asking for the same thing... Lastly, just wanna say, cherish all your love ones... You NEVER know what might happened... It may be their last.. or yours... Savour each second! Take y'all!! God Bless~ My Prayer: "Dear Jesus, I ask for you to let my dad have a speedy recovery. Don't let his condition get worst. We need him, his friends, simply everyone needs him. Please God, grant him another chance to live life. Let him relish this life he has. Let his wound heal, Let him be alright!!! Please grant these...
