What are the keys to your heart? 3:36 PM

    The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was emotional, moody, and difficult to please.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage something you've always wanted... though you haven't really thought about it.

In this moment, you think of love as something you thirst for. You'll do anything for love, but you won't fall for it easily.

My mom has been asking me this qn for heaps of times,

"Do you want to study overseas?"
Carrie Underwood won the American Idol! Woo-hoo!
I did love her last item " Angels brought me here"
But I prefered the rendition of "Inside Your Heaven" -the Idol song sang by Bo Bice.
    = ) They're both winners. ( =
My schedule for this June hols is never been more hectic.
Im also getting a one-on-one tuition teacher now. Group just doesn't work for me.
I won't be bloggin that often now. Gotta concentrate in my schwork.
I wanna buy my own yellow convertible car and a comfy house by the sea like the one in O.C [Orange Country]
hehehe... I'll work my way... oh yeah, oh yea~~
    'Til then.

    Moral Dilema

"Today we have a bit of a moral and ethical dilemma for you to ponder...
You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night, when you pass
by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for the bus:
    1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
    2. An old friend who once saved your life.
    3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.
Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could
only be one passenger in your car?
    Think before you continue reading...

    ..........................

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a
    job application.
You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you
    should save her first;
Or, you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this
would be the perfect chance to pay him back.
However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming
up with his answer. He simply answered: "I would give the car keys to my
old friend and let him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay
behind and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams."
Sometimes, we gain more if we are able to give up our stubborn thought
limitations. Never forget to 'Think Outside of the Box,' the mind it a powerful thing ! "

    Friday was A W E S O M E 12:30 AM

    Tomorrow is Mom's bday.
I've heaps to share. Or so it is... But I'll just mention the gist of every event.
Friday was just fabulous! haha... Albeit all the batteries I brought along with me were empty, my camera ended up being useless and a burden to carry... heh... Good thing we met Jasmine And Michelle, the trip was more better and Germaine & Jas had their digital cams with dem so we were still able to take loads of pictures. Yey! =D

And Oh! I met Liyi's american friends! woohoo!! They study at S'pore American School. I just love their accent! hehe... melts me.. hahahaha... =p If only they're not that tall cause I feel awkward wenever they tend to bend down... u know wat i mean. But hey, they're friendly. Names are Kenneth and Kenny. = ') I tried to ignore them at first when Liyi was buggin me to meet them. At a distance they look locals. haha... However, they passed by us coincidently and Liyi came runnin towards me. I pretended not to see her but t'was in vain. Oh well, at least I met new friends. Cool americans! So psyched! hehe.... lalala~

Friday as I've mentioned, we watched Coach Carter. It was touching. Inspirational. Good music. It made me cry when Coach Carter was fighting for his right and experience that if the basketballers don't perform in their academic areas, there's a highly probability that they'll ended up in jail like his team members then. Only a mere number of students are able to go to college in Richmond High.
I looked up to him. He didn't gave up, he perservered on despite his sports merchandise shop glass was deliberately smashed by some protesters over him when he cancelled the guy's matches. Important matches. I could go on and on... An awesome movie! Go watch it!

From there we took neoprints. Not recommended for posting them. I don't like the shots. haha.. We went to City hall then at Esplanade to take shots. =D Along the way we stopped over at this Japanese Restaurant -Ichiban Boshi. I never ate at a Jap restaurant before. I find their food 'dangerous' cause yea, it's not cooked. What more precaution one would want to avoid as much germs as possible? But the food was hella good! Delicous! I practically devoured on the various sumptious sushi. Del and I ordered n ordered! haha! Yum Yum! I know nuts about the jap food but good thing Mich and Jas were experienced. hehe.. A truely memorable food trip. And yes, the view is breath-taking. It over-sees the Clark quay area. ^_^ I love Jap foods from then onwards! My gosh... I'm salivating for more!! I don't quite like the wasabi... eew... I hate the feeling and taste it gives. YUCK. Maybe I should eat more of them? In a millenia...

From esplanade we walked down to fullerton hotel, to the merlion down the suntec underpass with all the art works on display, pass the vast 'empty' area where people practice their stunts from juggling to hip breakdance moves. We (Mich n I) watched with awe and the rest were simply gawking. -_-
Played bowling, almost wanted to play pool but it was already 11pm++. We raced down the Mrt to catch the last ride and hopeful for the buses too.
    Reached home at 12.30am.

I did turned up for service the next day. All I did was to catch as much moment of shut eyes as possible as I was having a lingering head ache and down with exhaustion. My new shepherd didn't help either. We somehow bickered over my faith and my hectic, packed, busy schedule. She wasnt at all empathetic nor understandin'. Sucked big time. Ugh..

Butterflies have been paying a visit at our residence. I noticed it late last night. This huge butterfly gave me a shock!! It's HUGE!!! Close to the size of my hand!! NO crap man! No crap! I took pictures of it. I think it's nocturnal cz I switched on the lamp and even had my camera on flash mode. It didn't fly at all. hehe... nice... =) Enchanting... yet mysteriously scary. U know about those 2nd life and stuff? Yea..... freaky...

And today, there's another butterfly. This time, it's outside our home. a lot smaller. There was also this cute lil one but it flew away. A diural one. The one that's up 24 hrs daily. Oosh.. I love butterflies. I do scribble my stuffs. My items. (Not so often though. )My materials. I don't scribble just anything. I particularly scribble butterflies and flowers everywhere in my work. My worksheets, files, my stationaries. (Even my eraser) Yep... I took shots of them... = )

Shoots, this's the longest entry so far...

    Take care and God bless!

    Hello~~ 10:19 PM

    Voila! I'm back!! Yeh-yeh- YEA~~
    -_-
I sounded like I was away for months or smthg...
The 2 computers at home were down yesterday and I missed being online! haha!
    Can u believe that?
Yet, it enabled me to focus on Social Studs, the last paper today.
Was having a hard time in the first part cause I was tryin to rack my brain
for the meanin of "Pragmatism" hah.. No more last minute crammin!
But thank God my essay was still a smooth-sailing one despite even the fact that I forgot to take my correction tape from my bag. Mind you, there were even 3 of them. Heck, my script was neat though! Hallelujah!!

Anyway... CTs' (Common Test) are OVER!!!
BUT, NOT O levels, NOT Mock Exams, NOT Prelims...
Gosh... Whenever I think of those, it just makes me nervous to bits!
So far I passed all subjects (the ones we got back) but didn't hit my target yet.
And yes, I still suck at Chemistry and Math.
Gotta work hard for those subjs cz I've not been putting much effort. Heh...
BUT hello~... at least I'm picking up with my other subjects! hehehe... = )
    Gotta level up...

So tomorrow commences the Mother Tongue Intensive.
Students not participating in that will still need to attend sch for fear that we'll be loitering around in shopping malls wasting our precious time. UGH.
So no more lessons... Oh my... Just exams, papers and more practice.
    *Nerve-reckin!!*

I'll be back for french classes too after being away for 2 weeks.
Missed lessons and revisions for the up-coming Controle after the holidays... Oh no...
Tomorrow we'll be watching french film! Woo-hoo!! It's the last lesson for the term.. Oh no

Friday will be awesome! It's Peicai Day. We're dismissed at 10am. Thenafter, graduating students who have not watched the 'Coach Carter' movie will be headin down to Causeway point to watch it which our school paid for us. How cool! haha... and Yes, it's 2h 30 min long! ahaha... ah..hah... hah...I hope it does inspire me... looking forward to watchin it. =D

Saturday... perhaps I'll go to Hope church... Perhaps...

American Idol was EXCITING!! Mom wants Bo to win... I wanted Vonzell (I love her name!) though I had been supporting Carrie weeks AGO. nge-heh-heh... I'm torn between the two...
So now... lets just leave America to decide their places. I think I'll go for the Rocker! -Bo! YEA!!

My dad's my hero!! He was able to fix my comp! hehe... Get this, he even absent himself from work today only to repair our 2 spoilt comps. Oh my... How great our dad's love is. So as a child, I need to pass mathematics! The subject he loves and aces on it... so opposite of me.. perhaps we could do genetic engineerin and jab those genes from dad to me! haha! crap.

    Take care y'all! God bless!
    Dont quit!
    Keep trying your best!

10 commandments of human relation 4:41 PM

    TEN COMMANDMENTS OF HUMAN RELATIONS

    1. Speak to people. There is nothing as nice as a cheerful word of greeting.

    2. Smile at people. It takes 65 muscles to frown; only 15 to smile.

    3. Call people by name. The sweetest music to anyone's ears is the sound of his own name.

    4. Be friendly and helpful. If you would have friends, be friendly.

    5. Be cordial. Speak and act as if everything you do were a genuine pleasure.

    6. Be genuinely interested in people. You can like everbody if you try.

    7. Be generous with praise -cautious with criticism.

    8. Be considerate with the feelings of others. It will be appreciated.

    9. Be thoughtful of the opinion of others. There are three sides to a controversy
-yours -the other fellow's -and the right one.

    10. Be alert to give service. What counts most in life is what we do for others.

Just a note to live life better than we already are doin... heh... =)
    A Simple reminder. = )
So have you been doing those 10 "rules" all along?
Try... U might expand the circle of your friends. =D

    Take care and God bless!

    Don't Quit 11:06 PM

    Don't Quit
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit ---
Rest it you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a person turns about,
When they might have won had they stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace is slow----
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the struggler has given up
    When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out---
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
    It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,---
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

Read this while mom told me to sleep early last night. hehe... She told me to pray the student's prayer before sleeping and so I took the prayer book and was just relieved to read this inspirational poem once again. I hope it did the same thing to y'all esp those mugging, cramming, sitting for the mid -exams and common tests! ALL THE BEST Rmbr to pray yea? =D

Today was fun and extraordinary, but I've no time to blog that out.

P.S You can find the poem every where. So u can just guess how fast I "typed" that. The poem I got was edited though compared to the prayer book which seemed more complete.

That would be all for now.

Take care y'all and God bless!

    Adious!

    Nostalgia 1:01 AM

All of a sudden I just felt a surge of nostalgia that hit me.
It made me search for my childhood friends and elementary classmates back then in friendster.
Well, somehow I hope they do respond, and most importantly, they were my lost friends.
Well, not lost, the ones I missed and remembered.
And perhaps this song playing in my blog influences me. "You and Me..."
Not that I have "nothing to do..."
That phrase greatly reminds me of when we were all young and free.
Now, we're busy with our studies, careers, friendships, relationships... even mothers' day...
Brings me back to those childhood days... ahh... here I go remiscing...
Lonely aches me now... hai... 7 years and ++days in the land of amazing surprises, but nothing could compare to the land where I grew up and met the people whom I dearly care and love.
Kung sana, nandito lang silang lahat... diba mas maganda yon? Umunlad ka, bayan ko!
Take care and God bless y'all! = )

    Thursday Tv Addict! 7:44 PM

    Thursday Tv- Addict!

    OH MY GOOOSSSHHH!!!!!

    Thursday's the best day EVER!!!
    WHY?!?!

Because all the tv shows ROCK!!!!
Starting from “8 Simple rules for dating my teenage daughter II”
To OC, One tree hill, Everwoood...!!

    OH MY!!!!!!!!!!

Haha... I can just start watching them from 7pm onwards right after French class!
Hallelujah, I’ve no sch tomorrow on top of it! YESH!! Haha...!!
It’s the MT paper -the whole day. So I don’t need to go. YEY!
There's also SC meeting after school, the Peicai Idol rehearsal of the finalist, all of which I'll miss but definitely I won't be missing it! Haha! =P

All the best for those sitting for the MT prelims!!
DO UR BEST AND GOD WILL DO THE REST!!
    J I A Y O U!!!

    And o!
    Today is AZLAN’S BIRTHDAY!!! 0505’05!!!
    Happy happy..
    Mom says it's a lucky number… ??
    Lucky lucky..
BUT, a close friend of mine just broke up with her gal…
    Sad sad…
Now tell me is this day suppose to be happy, lucky or sad ??

Took a nap last night for 30 min but ended up for 3 hours.
I woke up, continued my homework and wrapped the
presents for my four dear friends –Azlan, Delia, Germaine and Herlina.
Finished at 5am and went back to slumber land.
I was so tired, but managed to wake up at 6.30am
(thanks to mom’s morning calls! Although it was annoyin..)
The drive down to school was smooth sailing. Yey...
And phew~ I wasn’t late. I was early. Hehe... Praise God!

Fear of sleeping in class, I managed to keep my self awake throughout the day in school!
Yey! And... French class today wasn’t compulsory!
So many of my classmates weren’t free.
I wonder how Mme Faussat conducted the lesson... wahaha...

Oh no....here comes my exhausted lethargic feeling I had this morning when I had trouble getting out of bed. Which simply means I need to have my beauty sleep. Shacks, which means I'll not be able to watch the shows. So all in all, I'm not a tv-addict after all.
    Nites all! *Terribly Tired*
